@bijouxbroussard True, it's called a morning after pill here but I'm guessing its called an abortion pill (although technically a wrong name) where the poster is from?

@fazer1k The U.S. But it's not an abortion, there's no fetus. It prevents the egg from being fertilized .

@bijouxbroussard Yes, I'm aware of how it works. I'm just a bit confused by the original post. It seems to me it's reasonable to consider this pill a backup plan rather than plan A, as might otherwise be implied.

@fazer1k The OP was commenting that some women still believe that Plan B is "an abortion pill", when in fact it is not. Some so-called "pro-life" groups have also tried to restrict its availability for the same reason.
