Hegseth manages to shit himself several times in a single paragraph.

Hegseth said that he did not see that there were survivors in the water when the second strike was ordered and launched in early September, saying that “the thing was on fire” and citing the “fog of war” in defending the strike. Hegseth also said he “didn’t stick around” for the remainder of the mission following the first strike, and said that the admiral in charge had “made the right call” in ordering it, which he “had complete authority to do.”

1. If he didn’t see there were survivors why did he order a second strike? If he didn’t order it what did he do?
2. If the thing was on fire (sort of what happens after a bomb hits) why order a second strike?
3. What “fog of war” if the boat was on fire and he didn’t see anyone.
4. If he didn’t “stick around” then he did or did not order second strike?
5. How was the right call killing unarmed survivors of an attack?
