“We Are Not Slaves, We Are Farmers!”

“We Are Not Slaves, We Are Farmers!” – Polish and Italian Farmers RISE UP Against Government Elites Destroying Their Family Businesses

Farmer protests continued in The Netherlands on Thursday. And now the movement is spreading.

Farmer protests were launched in Italy and Poland on Thursday.

Farmers in The Netherlands blocked supermarket distribution hubs on Monday, July 4th.

The farmers are outraged over new government regulations that force them to reduce their nitrogen fertilizer compounds and limit their number of livestock. The farmers argue that these policies will bankrupt their family business.

Dutch and European courts have ordered the Dutch government to address the problem. Farmers say they have been unfairly singled out and have criticised the government’s approach.

Traffic jams were reported on the highways.

Cow and pig farts hardly constitute an emergency emissions crisis. Just an excuse for the elites to put farmers out of business and to starve us. Farmers know this, and like the truckers, are fighting back. We need to follow suit.
We need to do the same thing in Australia but most of our farmland has been sold to China.

And the elites know better than to mess with the CCP...
The elites would stand to lose their bribes.

@jshm2 I got no checks Jshm.
Your comment makes no sense without context.

PS - I'm not unhappy. I am in fact happy the farmers are speaking out.
So, salt your devil.

Yes it does. Methane is a far FAR more potent greenhouse gas than CO2 and recent research has shown that the atmosphere is far FAR more sensitive to methane than originally thought. Methane emissions need to be reduced, and reduced now.

Just a slight change in animal feed can reduce cattle emissions by 80%. It's not even that expensive. But they'd rather take to the streets. Bring it! It won't make any difference; they'll be forced to make changes :)
