far more people are shot in . . .
1. drive bys
2. gang turf wars
3. "woman troubles"
4. "drug deal gone bad"
than in serial/mass killings.
almost all shooting deaths happen in the inner city, with handguns. not in suburban schools with a rifle in the hands of some mental patient.

@SusanInFlorida 5) Suicides.
SusanInFlorida · 31-35, F
@trollslayer you are correct. my omission was an oversite. there are inadequate records kept. but some statisticians are convinced that suicides outnumber murders (all weapons types) by a wide margin.
i personally know of 4 suicides. and only 1 murder victim. but then again i don't live in an urban area.

@SusanInFlorida good point. You cannot discuss solutions. You post long evasions and quibble endlessly, so guns. Typical American.
SusanInFlorida · 31-35, F
@Roundandroundwego so - no debate allowed, except by those claiming they've got "the solution"? You'd be a hoot on jury duty, no doubt.

@SusanInFlorida guns are always present or there's no shooting.
