Agreed. Gun violence is there to keep the people afraid.. You can be afraid if you dont own a gun. And be afraid of other people with guns if you do..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman it's definitely keeping away the peace you need for democracy.

@whowasthatmaskedman Gun violence is used by both sides - one side uses it to scare people into buying more guns. The other side uses it to scare people into more gun control.

@trollslayer I agree. Just because one side of politics are certainly the bad guys, it doesnt automatically follow that the other side are the good guys. So many Americans only think in this binary way..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman A difficult mindset to escape... I prefer to think of that neither side are "bad guys" or "good guys", only that certain members of each side are "bad guys". There has only been one US president in my 47 years that I have considered one of the "bad guys" despite most of them having platforms that I disagreed with. That's not to say the other presidents were "good guys", they just had ideas that differed from my own.
@trollslayer no. Measurable violence is right wing only. Leftists are against violence.
@trollslayer bad people do side with dangerous and deadly politics.

@Roundandroundwego i would’t say violence is completely removed from left leaning politics, but I feel a much greater threat of violence from the right. I can imagine someone on the left “monkey wrenching”, but cant imagine them blowing up federal buildings and killing children to make a point.
@trollslayer violence is consistent with right wing politics, inconsistent with left wing politics.
