against because what's the point of having a gun when you need permission from someone else

@sirjames: we have gun control in Australia, only cops, army, farmers are legally allowed to carry guns and how is a law abiding citizen got a chance against some criminal with an automatic gun? "She'll be right mate, just run and calm the cops in hope you don't get Swiss cheesed up.

@AwakeningConfession9: That's right. And not only that, but notice how people nowadays hold authority in a kind of supernatural reverence: for instance, why is it that only cops and soldiers should have guns? Is there some kind of morality they possess that lesser, ordinary citizens don't? Are they not as human and as prone to error and violence?
Fools will answer, "but they are trained." But trained in what exactly? The issue isn't shooting straight, it's who and when you shoot, which is a moral judgment. So evidently these people think that the instructors of police and soldiers have some high moral sense that we common folk don't. I wonder where these instructors learned it from? And their instructors before them, and so on? haha
