Why did Gov. Scott say he was shocked something like this would happen in his state? It's the 15th mass shooting in FL this year alone.

No, I don't think the founding fathers specifically were talking about any particular class of weapons. I know that the intent was to have citizens armed enough to defend themselves against an oppressive government.
