But that's what the Democrats say...

There's nothing wrong with REASONABLE gun control. Everyone with an education would agree:
1. Guns should not be sold to minors, or to the mentally ill.
2. Those with a criminal record should NOT be allowed to buy firearms.
3. Illegal aliens should NOT be allowed to buy firearms, and if they are caught they should instantly be deported.
4. Florida had the right idea: The 10/20/LIFE law, signed by Governor Jeb Bush.
Take a gun to a crime, 10 years. Fire that gun, 20 years. The bullet hits someone, LIFE. PERIOD. End of story.
That laws focuses on the ONLY element committing murder with firearms.
5. Registering firearms should be a TOTALLY VOLUNTARY action. Some people would want their guns registered just in case a gun is stolen. They should be given the choice. LEGAL gun owners who do not want to register their weapons should be entitled to this form of privacy.

Gun control means hitting what you aim at.
