Oklahoma man arrested during family game of Monopoly after he got angry and started shooting

"John Ronald Dewayne Armstrong was arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after a round of the game erupted into an argument, with a table and the game's board being flipped in the process before he allegedly chased his stepsister and stepfather down the street while pointing his gun at them.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department were called to a home near East Admiral Place and North Mingo Road around 6.30pm for reports of shots fired, according to KTUL.

Upon arrival, the officers learned that the family members had been drinking when the game turned violent, with Armstrong and his stepfather getting into a fight.

What happens when people believe it’s their god given right to action the First Amendment Right to present firearms.

Innocent people get shot.

Remove guns from the situation and a few people end up with black eyes but live to argue another day. NOONE gets shot.

@BeachGirl47 Gun control is a screening process to prevent unfit, dangerous people from having access to guns. No one is going to confiscate or ban all guns. Never going to happen in America.

Face facts - America is in a gun murder crisis. Thousands of people are gunned down every year. Tomorrow it could be you or me or anyone.

We need common sense restrictions: There should be a required handgun owner's license, with photo and fingerprints, and completion of a mandatory training class required to buy guns and ammo.

@justanothername but i saw video where a guy tried robbing a casier with a chefs knife and an ordinary guy in line pulled out a gun and stopped the guy from robbing the cashier. Held him there untill police arrived. So if the guydidnt havea gunthe cashiermay have been stabbed

Look at the UK and Austrailia, they both effectively banned gun ownership years ago, and guess what? Very few gun related deaths occur.

You will always have problems with knife crime, but a knife can't kill 50 people in a matter of seconds.
