Its more of a freeze but....

I had decided that despite me having a license for restricted firearms that I was NOT going to avail myself of the opportunity as the only place they could be used was for target practice on a range, seemed sort of impractical and overly restrictive to me.. When this proposal was made public I changed my mind - seemed if I postponed acquiring a hand gun that I would be precluded from ever getting one so it was a case of now or never and the government forced my hand.. I purchased and took delivery of a pistol. I was NOT the only one the RCMP were swamped and every hand gun in the country for sale both new and used was snatched up... right away... In terms of accuracy they will never be as good as a rifle but this one is still pretty accurate.. So now the only ones getting and using hand guns are criminals with smuggled ammunition and smuggled guns and they are shooting people on the streets of Canada.. every day. This freeze was expedient scape goat making of legally abiding licensed citizens.. and when they run for election the ten percent of people in Canada who are licensed will not be casting ballots in favour of the liberals - they will be working for and voting for the Conservative party of Canada. Not only will I not vote liberal, I will never do so.
