Shooting in a library in San Jose, CA, a library for God's sake

Just announced on the news, shooting in a library this afternoon.

The gun insanity in this country gets worse with each passing day.

Say it loud: GUN CONTROL!

One injured, gang related. Let me guess... shooter was out on probation and had several priors. Yeah, these folks are sure to abide by gun control and follow the "Gun Free Zone" signs. I grew-up in San Jose. Used to be a nice place to live.

@Fukfacewillie Ummm... I co-owned a gun store here in CA about 15 years ago. Everyone gets a background check. In CA it's done through the California DOJ DROS system. Gun show sales are handled exclusively through a licensed retail gun dealer (one who has a Cal DOJ dealer number). I doubt this knucklehead used an AR-15. Probably a handgun.

@Fukfacewillie Yes, as they are currently implemented and hopefully inclusion of mental health records at some point, although IMO that needs careful consideration of what conditions would disallow a purchase. Currently, anyone can lie on the BATF Form 4473 because it's a check-box you fill-in.
