And here in gun controlled Canada there was a mass shooting that lasted many hours and covered many miles. 23 people were killed by guns and negligent police who sheltered the shooter. Guns are not the problem. People are the problem. There was a mass murder in the area where I lived a small child. I was too young to remember the events but it turned out that 5 murders were committed using a blunt object. No one could determine what the blunt object was but we do know it was not a gun. Sadly the gun is simply the tool used. Remove it from the equation and the murder rate will not budge. Murder is the idea in the head and the intent in the heart not the tool in hand.
@hippyjoe1955 not the same frequency as here.

@hippyjoe1955 How many mass shootings have there been in Canada this year?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@JonLosAngeles66 and we have 1/10th the people here. Do you have a point to make? The problem is the people not the weapons. I grew up in a small town where everyone had at least one rifle. No one had a pistol because it was illegal. Two days ago there was a shooting outside the hockey arena in the major center. A few days ago I heard some shots being fired outside the house. I went and looked. Some gang bangers were shooting at each other. One of them had a gunshot wound in the back of his head. Don't bother with the stats. Too easy to manipulate.

@OggggO More than are being reported. Canada hides its stats.

@hippyjoe1955 Awfully convenient for you, huh?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@OggggO Not convenient simple truth. There are shootings on a daily basis. You never hear about them on the news.
