So if gun control isn’t the solution what is?

Honest question. I’m pro 2nd amendment but this isn’t sustainable. Arming the teachers isn’t going to help. The guy was wearing body armor, even the cops couldn’t stop him from getting in. More money for cops obviously isn’t the solution for the same reason. This isn’t the first time a shooter wore body armor. A guy had a gun and returned fire in buffalo but the shooter wore body armor there too.

So honestly what is to be done?

You must have a Psychometric Assessment
12 weeks Government training on use of fire arms
Only bolt action rifle
You must have a good reason ( Lic shooter/renewed every 12 months )
A hand gun Lic is only give to registered members of a approved gun club
Every weapon must be shown to the Police every 6 months
All weapons & ammo must be locked in a safety cabinet bolted to a hard floor ( inspection is required )

THAT'S THE LAW
18 months in jail and/or $10,000 fine if the cops come to your place and find you don't comply

Do you have higher tax brackets and redistibution of wealth so that more people can actually enjoy freedom instead of just having it? That's what they do in our "tyrannical" system. People can actually go to the doctor and don't fear to be bankrupted.

And does your country protect labor? So that people can enjoy a 40 hour work week, without doing extra jobs and without having the fear that they won't get by at the end of the month? Because that's what our "tyrannical" governement does and people seem to enjoy the freedom that it creates.

And does your country allow for abortion for all women no matter where they live? Because in our "tyrannical" system that freedom is really imposed on the people.
