With the MeToo Movement and the Gun Control crowd, will Trump be re-elected in 2020 ?

@SW-User How did he behave? The news here showed him visiting the hospital and offering support to the families. Today he signed a paper requesting to stop selling parts to guns that make them shoot like an AR. How has he wrongfully behaved? Did I miss something?

@ladycae I'm glad to hear you complain, and not the parents, or kids he visited. If it makes you happy to think the worse out of someone, so be it, you're on your own on this. BTW, it takes the president to make a change, and signing a legal letter handed over is a start to it. Just keep digging for all the negatives you want out of him, but your words out of anger cause he's the president -vs- what he is doing, I'm standing behind action and not your words.

@Crickets they are not words out of anger, they are words out of frustration over watching him the last year slowly turn the us into something less than it was 2 years ago. and his solution he proposed today which is arming teachers is so far away from the reality of life. yes, that one teacher could have killed the shooter, but would it have prevented the shooter from attacking in the first place, no. will it stop school shootings and other needless violence no. he is trying to walk that thin line between pleasing the NRA and doing what is right and he is not a good enough man to do that. in his one year, there is only one good thing that has come from our gop led government. and in reality, it is something that his new budget plan slashes. i want a president i can be proud of. i thought we could not get any lower than Dubya. boy was i wrong. i am politicly active. i work in local government and i have seen the effects of emulating a racist president who only cares for himself and what makes him look better not on what makes him [b]be [/b]better. drain the swamp sure.

@ladycae You do know this gun control issue has been out of hands for years, right? NOT just since Trump arrived. You add the fact that there is STILL gun shootings going on, as it has for several decades, plus add the fact that media and a large group of libs are totally against the president. When you add up everything wrong in the world and the haters are going to thrive and dump it on the one they hate, the stories come out left and right and MEANER. Here's the thing, when the same thing was going with Obama, no one cared as much to speak out of anger because Obama was for the people. And what I mean by that is, you all became a bunch of greedy have to have it my way brats. Now that there's a president working for the country and not the people, no one likes him. I for one can't find a single damn thing wrong that he has done to me. In fact, I receive an additional almost $300 per month back plus this year I actually received a good chunk of change back in taxes, that I always pay in. Can I start poking fingers to the one president that since I've been born has actually provided back and doesn't want a penny in return for work??? As far as guns go, as the old saying goes to stop a bad man with a gun, it takes a good man with one.
You can't tell me if you had kids going to school and a student pulled a gun, you wouldn't be relieved that someone in that school was able to stop the shooting and no one was killed but that one kid that was looking for trouble. If you can defend that one kid -vs- the 17 dead just last week, I agree something is wrong. Only it's not with out president.

@Crickets yes it has been an ongoing issue, but the buck stops with trump now and it's his job to fix it. anyone else is old news and old failures. in case you don't realize it Obama is no longer president. so what he did or didn't do is just noise meant to distract by conservatives who desperately want to take the spotlight off trump. it is his issue now, no one else's

Sure i would be relieved if someone killed a shooter at my kid's school. i'd be relieved if someone lobbed a grenade at them, or if a huge hole opened up and swallowed them whole., but that would not solve the problem or stop it from happening again. real adult non NRA gun control will stop it. who needs assault rifles for anything legal? you don't hunt with them, you can't practice at a gun range or enter shooting competitions with them. all you can do with them is kill a lot of people quickly. so let's get rid of them, get rid of bump stocks. make people use only those guns good for hunting. keep guns out of those with criminal backgrounds or the mentally ill person's hands. or enforce the 2nd amendment which says nothing about anyone owning a gun for personal use. europe had school shootings. they took away the guns and guess what school shootings stopped and the crime rate dropped. no more accidental young kids killed by playing with daddy's gun, no gangs. But they also have no NRA buying their politicians or presdents.
