17 dead in Florida high school shooting .... gun control/debate will definitely take over the news again !

Are you for or against? I personally hate guns!! But I do believe in your right of owning them should they be readily available by others !! Still I hate guns!

Maybe, Maybe I could see pistols for home defense. The militarization of rifles though is pretty much just a way to make guns profitable.

I would ask anyone who disagrees to watch some of the videos taken by students coming out of Florida. Over the screaming and crying you hear it, "thump, thump, thump", steady and ongoing, the firing of whatever weapon this person used. It was incredibly chilling to me to listen to it.

Listen to it and really ask yourself if that is what we need in this country, weapons that can be outfitted to look and act almost like ones the military uses.

@Pherick there is nothing militarized about the AR-15. It's a semi automatic like most pistols and AR does not stand for assault rifle. Yes it's black and looks all mean but it's just a dressed up 22 rifle if that.

@abe182 Really? Because a quick search of "ar15 military accessories" shows me ALOT of web pages selling accessories to make an AR15 pretty darn military looking.

Well your "dressed up 22" just gunned down 18 innocent human beings in a school. It boggles my mind how this keep happening over and over and over (18 times JUST this year) and people keeping saying "Well the AR15 isn't automatic" or "Its not a military weapon"

I don't care what the fuck it is, its a deadly fucking weapon that seemingly any Tom, Dick or Harry with an issue can grab and start mowing people down.
