I think the heat of the moment is probably the wrong time. I’m all in favour of gun control, but it won’t prevent all outrages of the kind that has just happened, as we in the UK know. And any change in the US will, for better or worse, take an awful long time.

@SimplyTracie It’s not much to do with the President is it? As I understand it, it’s a matter for state law, subject to the Constitution and how the Supreme Court interprets that.
