I cant believe our president

I understand some people may say ,americans are lazy and depend on welfare.. I dont know how im going to be able to survive this government shutdown.. If i didnt have a special needs child i would shut the hell up and go to work

I have credentials, i can walk right into a hospital and ill be guaranteed work. im not lazy but my situation is not the best

im trying to not breakdown and panic because the system has been failing me since last year

then with gas in my building being out for god knows when , i get an extra 100 for restaurant allowance due to this.. now what am i supposed to do

the reality is sinking in

i may lose my mind, i have nothing , i have no support and now with these people shutting down the government ..now what?

It's not the president. A bipartisan majority in both the house and senate has approved the continuing resolution to keep the government open. But the senate needs 60 votes. Republicans have presented a clean continuing resolution to get it open 13 times, but each time it gets blocked by democrats. THIRTEEN TIMES!!! I agree with your concerns. Not everyone is lazy and this nonsense needs to stop. Open it up ASAP. All they need is 5 democrats to vote to open it up and it opens immediately.

@Namor69 They count. The left media is of course lying and spinning this to be in some way the fault of Republicans. And in the past I may have agreed. But this time it's clear and simple. The dems are using this shutdown as leverage to bail out the failing Obamacare by insisting on continuing subsidies democrats offered some people during the pandemic. And the dems even chose the end of 2025 to sunset these subsidies. The rates will revert to to pre-pandemic levels and of course are way too high. But the entire healthcare system has been a mess since Obamacare. 🤷🏻‍♂
