In your country, do politicians

...in your parliament, national assembly, congress, or whatever, heckle and insult each other when they are supposed to be discussing matters of national importance?

🇨🇦 Parliament opened yesterday and I am sick of our juvenile politicians already 😑

@nudistsueaz I'm guessing you know what a bar is - it serves alcoholic drinks normally. In our Houses Parliament they are subsidised by the taxpayer so the drinks are cheap. The same goes for the dining rooms.

@FreddieUK I know exactly what a bar is. Just have no idea why tax dollars would subsidize them. Socialized government I'm guessing.

@nudistsueaz I think it was definitely introduced by the 'entitled elite' orginally and I suppose you could argue that good employers support their workers with some subsidised food in private firms, but many of us are not happy with what appears to be a gravy train not available to those who pay the taxes.
