Do you think that is possible? The United States Of America (along with our Founding Fathers) showed the world it was possible to create a government of the people, by the people and for the people without turning it into a theocracy.

The Shah brought Iran in to the 20th Century. All boats were lifted. Everyone was becoming more prosperous. Iran had better days. And a centuries old terrorist religion (WHICH TEACHES DEATH TO ALL NON MUSLIMS) crept back. The Shah was overturned and the theocracy was back.

I'm wondering if the people of Iran are just a bunch of ignorant, uneducated towelheads without any concept of decency or fairness.

They dress women in burqas and throw fags off tall buildings.

The Ayatollah is going to be stepping down, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that shee it hole of a to every evolve pass a 12th Century terrorist theocracy.

@Reason10 They are not ignorant at all. There was a lot of meddling in their country for a great long period of time with the British Empire and the United States. There was a famine caused by British agents that killed nearly 10 million Iranians. This was motivated by Britain wanting to get control of their petroleum. They elected a moderate leader in the 1950’s, Prime Minister Mossadegh and he was popular with the majority of the people. The CIA was involved in his overthrow. And let’s not forget that Khomeini was given exile in France and got power after the revolution.

@Reason10 Which problem were they fixing? And are you suggesting the Stasi and the KGB were a force for good?
