Why is it sad? The World Trade Center was destroyed by animals with expired visas.
Here's the solution: If you're a student at an American university, you have homework to do. One of those assignments is to renew your student visa.

@Reason10 Both American citizens and legal immigrants alike commit crimes. People with expired visas commit crimes. Not sure your point as most with expired visas don't commit crimes as well. You seem to be reaching.
The attacks were the result of a coordinated effort by al-Qaeda, not simply a case of visa overstay enforcement failure. Which isn't the same thing.
