U.S. constitution

Given that the US constition apparently upholds the ability & power for a single individual to impose whatever (s)he wishes on virtually anyone anywhere, wouldn't you consider it an immoral, evil document?

No. Its a great document for its time.. Sadly its purpose has been perverted by corrupt people..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I'd accept that the U.S. constitution's intent has been sidestepped, but surely its purpose was/is to define how the country and its population are allowed to behave.

@ffony If I agreed with that point (and i am not sure I do) I would say it is wrong. Surely its purpose should be to define how a people should NOT be allowed to behave, and within those limitations, decide freely. Those limits wouild be to stop one impinging on the freedoms of others..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman How can I get some fixed-opinion antagonism going if you're going to start suggesting possible nuances? Play fair !!!

@whowasthatmaskedman I KNEW you had no class! But at least you're sorry. Actually it's a bit cold & wet here so no Gazpacho tonight. I'm going for Northumberland Pan Haggerty.

@ffony Looking up those traditional recipes for single pan cooking myself. I will have to try it...😷

@badminton What, thwart dictatorship using pan haggerty? I suppose it could work, but how?
