How come the republican supporters are not upset about the new tariff war?

That is something that will cost us ALL if tariffs actually go through.

Even if it does bring jobs back to America, do you really relish the thought of paying even more for things that are overpriced?

Some think, "At first it may cost more but prices will eventually come down". Didn't trump himself say something about once prices go up, it is really hard to bring them down?

I am just trying to understand why some members of the Right would cheer on someone who is doing things that will hit their wallets even harder.

Tariffs should bring lower taxes and tax related expenses for all Americans, with those lower taxes more than offsetting and price increases. There is also the reduction in government workforces at all levels. Much of local government serves as managers of federal grants, making sure local governments are applying for and securing federal grants, as well as making sure federal funds are accounted for and comply with federal regulations.

There is a federal tax connected to practically everything we Americans use and do. A tax on your phone, on the gas you put in your car, on rent, on everything.
