President Trump has stated the the US will apply 25% tariffs on both Canada and Mexico starting this Saturday. This is a punitive action based in the levels of drugs and people those countries allow to pass into the US illegally.

Will Canada and Mexico make adjustments or be stubborn and allow these tariffs to destroy their respective economies?

Why isn’t Trump putting his efforts in to stopping American Citizens buying and consuming illegal drugs rather than blame others for the problem.

@Anniedlr 40 plus years of that, hasn't made a bit of difference...

Allowing illegal drugs through a country is the countries problem, not the consumer.

@Anniedlr He is actually by making it impossible to buy. What problem do you have by stopping this at the source?
Anniedlr · 26-30, F
@carpediem None but it’s something that is a problem because Americans are prepared to buy and use illegal drugs. Why arent American Border patrols preventing the entry of such drugs
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Anniedlr Are you aware the US is actively removing criminal illegals from the country right now? Obviously that would include drug and sex traffickers who illegally crossed the border. Trump isn't just relying on Canada and Mexico, he is looking for their cooperation on reducing the amount of drugs coming into the country.

Hell yeah costa rica is an awesome place to go, la fortuna and coco beach is a lot of fun. I went scuba diving in coco beach but they have snorkeling for people who aren't certified for scuba. They have a lot of bars and night life i know at least one casino is there. La fortuna is a few hours from the water but they have some massive volcanos you can hike and the biggest cave I've ever been in. They have rappelling and zip lining through the rainforest. There's some fun hotsprings by the volcano with slides and a swim up bar. I got drunk and went down the slides head first lol. Those were definitely my favorite parts of costa rica i seen. It might be different now but i was spending freely and wasn't spending 50 dollars a day. I was 20 years old i couldn't even buy beer in America and being able to have all the beer i wanted there was amazing to me lol. Memorial day would be a convenient day to have your birthday fall on lol. I hope i see Tanzania soon everything having guides required makes me not want to go alone to be awkwardly stuck by myself with a random guide lol. If i go alone I'll go to South Africa where I'm free to roam the safaris and stuff by myself. Mauritius would be amazing too I've always wanted to include that into my Tanzania trip.
that's pretty much what his immigration policies are all about but so many people don't see that
