President Trump has stated the the US will apply 25% tariffs on both Canada and Mexico starting this Saturday. This is a punitive action based in the levels of drugs and people those countries allow to pass into the US illegally.
Will Canada and Mexico make adjustments or be stubborn and allow these tariffs to destroy their respective economies?

LoL. It's the American citizens who are going to pay for the tariffs. Have a nice day when you go buy products that have gone up by probably 30-40% to cover the 25% tariff

@Justafantasy we just watched things go up 400 percent without a peep from most of you it's funny how all of a sudden the cost of living is a concern for you
@Justafantasy Watch what happens after 30 days. Your economy will show signs of collapse. And all you have to do is fix your broken border like the United States is attempting to fix ours. But if you can’t do that, enjoy the ride.
@SW-User since the start of COVID my cost of living has gone up a ridiculous amount. Do I know the exact number? No. I just find Americans not realizing the tariffs affect the cost of goods they buy far more than it affects Canada
@Justafantasy I think you're dreaming. Most items we import from Canada are also available in the US. The US consumer might be temporarily impacted, but not for long and not in a major way. Wholesale purchasing in the US will adjust quickly with limited impact. I'm not sure Canada can say the same thing.
Canada has not been a good neighbor as of late. A stiff tariff will either straighten things out, or hurt both countries. It sure as hell looks like we're about to find out.
@Justafantasy sometimes when that's the best you can come up with it's just better to walk away. Although I'm not the less bit surprised a liberal's intelligent rebuttal is summed up by a child's I know you are but what am I
