The new social security raise starting in January is a joke!

Biden announced he was giving people in social security a 3.2% raise to combat inflation. My wife signed up for Social security this past September. She was told that her Medicare insurance payments would be deducted from her check before she got it. That's fine. Two weeks ago she got a letter from Medicare stating they were raising the cost of her drug coverage plan. So after deducting the new increase of this new 3.2% pay raise she will only see an additional $0.78 per month in her check to cover all the inflation Biden has caused. Thanks Joe! Don't count on our support in November.

Inflation is caused by low interest rates, strong job market, and out of control consumer spending due to low interest rates which makes companies raise prices. The gas companies used the war as an excuse to raise prices. So how did any president cause inflation? This was going on during Trump too. If you want to blame anyone, Fed chairman Jerome Powell is your man. He controls monetary policy and interest rates.

@Musicman I'm Republican and not a traitor of my government if that is what you mean. I guess you failed both civics and economics. And truth evades you - 4 indictments, 91 criminal counts, and all of those he directed are cooperating for lesser charges. The court record is open for everyone to read.
