The new social security raise starting in January is a joke!

Biden announced he was giving people in social security a 3.2% raise to combat inflation. My wife signed up for Social security this past September. She was told that her Medicare insurance payments would be deducted from her check before she got it. That's fine. Two weeks ago she got a letter from Medicare stating they were raising the cost of her drug coverage plan. So after deducting the new increase of this new 3.2% pay raise she will only see an additional $0.78 per month in her check to cover all the inflation Biden has caused. Thanks Joe! Don't count on our support in November.

Unfortunately this has been happening for decades regardless who’s in office.

@Handfull1 One sided politic debaters hate this, now who to blame? And covid made the rising extra fast. People bulked and to stop that craziness they upped all prices. No matter who was president the result would have been the same.

And regarding the lack of eggs. A president can control many things but they can not force a hen to make eggs!

The eggs came, they just were delayed since during covid everyone bulked eggs and they needed bigger orders. It's not like the hen goes "You need three times more eggs from me? Sir yes sir!" you can't force nature.

Same with all other orders. It wasn't lack of workers, it was just a crisis situation and when people panic they are selfish. They buy more than they can chew so it's not enough for everyone.
