He's Ayna Rand's alter ego. She gave him a penis, because 1957 society was not "woke" enough to acknowledge that women can be leaders.

Either that, or she did not want to look inhumane, so she had him push for an Athenian utopia.

In her defense, this was 1957. More recent research indicates that Plutarch may have been full of shit, and Libertarianism is about as feasible as Scientology.

@Northwest I liken Libertarianism to Socialism in a sense that it is mostly a philosophy that doesn't apply well to real life, except perhaps in limited situations, because both go against human nature. And, there is overlap between the two.

By "going against human nature", I mean that Libertarianism often seems to forget that this is a planet of billions of people, and people organized and have given away certain liberties for thousands of years in order to pursue a common good.

My problem with libertarians, as well as socialists, is that they fail to recognize how much there are dependent upon others for their well being. (A good example would be a libertarian who complains about gasoline taxes at the same time complaining about the poor condition of a public highway, or a socialist complaining about the lack of choices for doctors)
