You should see french approval poll ratings, if you think that this is bad. That country has a three-way partisan divide instead of a two-way one.

Macron attempts to be all things to all people. The only name branding that stuck is 'President for the rich.' He keeps winning because of the second-choice ranked voting, divided opposition and lesser evilism.

@Burnley123 It seems like that wherever some* form of plurality voting is in place; it always becomes a matter of going for the "lesser of two evils", which not coincidentally is always something like Macron
