@revenant human trails are carried out by private organisations. They are funded. Menawhile government alone is capable of getting remedy for every illness. There are more of stress disorder and poverty which government can't get do much about it.

@littlepuppywantanewlife Actually we face a crisis of antibiotic resistance and the private pharmaceutical industry is completely failing to invest in producing it. They made billions by exploiting antibiotic discovery in government labs. So why not invest? Because they are too accountable to producing more immediate profits for shareholders and executive bonuses. The idea that private enterprise is always better is a laughable myth. This is one of a myriad of examples in other sectors as well. I could also raise many other failures of pharmaceutical industry and health insurance industries to put interests of public to the forefront - and I'm not anti-pharmaceutical companies. Just pointing out the nuance and complexity in reality.
