Speaking as a civil servant we also provide protection for children who have parents that think they can sexually assault and kill them as if they were just a possession.
We provide a forum to settle disputes for people who are two moronic to settle themselves.
We are the people you call if someone needs help, protection or rescuing.
We are the people you feel you have a right to abuse even while we serve you.
But sure carry on all that original shit in the OP.

@HeidiA My dear, you do not need a government in order to do good deeds. People did these things long before governments were established.

@RocktheHouse apparently you do. Because people can’t/won’t conduct themselves in a civilised way.
Just this week we took a child into care. He appears to have suffered sexual abuse during his short life, and his parents have given statements that they were considering abandoning or killing him so they could go back to drugs and alcohol.
What protection would your populist anarchy have afforded him? A burial?

@HeidiA Anarchy is not chaos, Laws and ordinances can exist. However, we don't need laws and ordinances that are oppressive in nature. In the first place, you are acting as if punishment is a viable solution to ending the problem when evidence disagrees. We should focus more on fostering an environment of love and community. What preventative measures do you propose we take? Put a camera in everyone's home and monitor them 24/7? That's the government's solution because it allows them to control people. It's not a viable solution.

@RocktheHouse So what would you have done to stop that little boys abuse and eventual death?
RocktheHouse · M
@HeidiA What are you doing to stop it? What is the government doing because obviously it is still happening. The problem is that government doesn't really care. We need community, not government. We need more people living together in strong families and strong communities. If you know someone has a problem, let's all go talk to that person and see if we can help. People should stop ignoring the emotional and psychological needs of their peers. That's the problem. We are too busy trying to work so we can buy things we are scammed into buying because we think we aren't shit if we don't have what our neighbors have. We have no time for family and no time for community.

@RocktheHouse You haven’t answered the question. You deflected.
I stop it by working for the government agency that rescued the little boy.
Your turn. How in a world without a government would you stop that little boy from being sexually abused until the day his parents kill him?
