LOL. If you buy that corporations are people ... nah... not going there.

Folks that scream "socialism" whenever there's any "redistribution of wealth" are not seeing the big picture, and IMO, absolute libertarians are not much different than anarchists.

"Governments" have subsidizing some citizens probably back to the hunter/gatherer days when you think about it, long before socialism or industry was a thing. Sure, I'd call Trump's approach "crony capitalism," but in the end, I'd also say one of the functions of government is to make sure that the community as a whole survives and that includes managing contributions and distributions.

@MistyCee Are you saying that libertarians are full of shit then?
@Wol62 We're all full of shit, tbh. Some of us get rid of it compulsively, and some of us cling to it.

I think individual liberty is worth preserving, but at some point, it needs to yield to be a part of society.

The hard part, imo, is figuring out where to draw lines between individual liberty and communal benefit. I tend to think folks on either side are really "full of shit" tbh, while I think the folks who see the difficulty in balancing individual liberty against communal benefits are worth talking to.

Just my two cents.

@MistyCee Talk as much as you like but you can't control the system no one can!

That is why it's pointless voting. Just my two cents.
@Wol62 Your two cents and even my two cents aren't likely to make a difference, but the idea is that, if everyone contributes their two cents, it can.

I'm not saying that idea is right. Its just me repeating, i.e., my own "two cents."

I'd say libertarians are not much different than house cats!
