What Signalgate says about the misadministration’s real priorities
1. For tRUMP and his misadministration, they prioritized avoiding legally mandated transparency of their communications over the operational security of an on-going attack by our service members on a hostile foreign power.
2. This disregard of that transparency was so important that they used an unauthorized app (Signal) because of its erase function.
3. They were communicating this over personal unsecure communications devices (cellphones) and one of the members of this chat group using his personal cellphone on the chat was physically in Russia at the time.
4. When revealed, their actions were to lie, blame, deny responsibility for their own roles in this National Security fiasco and not immediately take all necessary steps to mitigate the damage they had needlessly caused.
5. They still think that they should be credited for a “successful military action!”
And that is not even considering all the other issues this sloppy mishandling has caused that are yet to come to light!
