Spanish, when they took control of central and south America.
@nudistsueaz Something I've never understood is how Spain was able to take command of so much of of the Americas.

@Heartlander They had a huge naval fleet. Maybe the largest in the world, at the time. The Spanish Armada.
@nudistsueaz Not only did they reach and explore practically every niche of the Americas but they took control over millions of square miles. From Florida to California, the Pacific side of Central and South America. Like how did they reach Bolivia so many centuries ago and maintain a connection without being swallowed by the jungles and the terrain?

@Heartlander I'm not sure about Bolivia but they were explores and went everywhere.
@nudistsueaz Yea, awestruck at the expanse of the Spanish empire. They founded LaPaz, Bolivia in like 1550, just 60 years after Columbus stumbled onto the Bahamas.
