Why do you think the students of our country are so prone to stupid ideas?

Many of us had communist educators but aren't communists....our ideas were very individual, despite sometimes having teachers who were often very far left or far right. Critical thinking was fostered by classroom discussion regardless of the educators' viewpoints.
The biggest problem with the youth of today is the addiction to social media....and depending on which social media they use, they seem to follow it without a lot of critical thought.
