russia is a good example of Communism

Years of communism will:

- Divide and reduce the size of your country
- Instill fear amongst younger generation
- more citizens will escape abroad
- harvest anger and corruption
- harvest narcissism
- encourage never-ending, senseless wars

What else? 😏

Russia had state - capitalism under authoritarian stalinist rule. Never communism and a failed revolutionary attempt to implement socialism.

It's a shame they had a chance to build a great society after the revolution :(

Yes…they should have adopted a more democratic form of government like Germany did after Hitler. Js…

@Vivaci Yes but to be fair we already had a democracy before Hitler. The Weimar Republic.
@SW-User Yup…but Germans have quickly learned from their past and adopted a good form of govt….tending to the needs of its citizens first. And even the common citizen has his/her privileges and rights…it’s not just on paper…they even have the strictest laws on data privacy in the world. I find that highly commendable.

That’s true progress imho…

@Vivaci Well it wasn't that easy here either since we got split up in west Germany (BRD) and the communist east (DDR). The west influenced by the US and the east by soviet Russia

@Vivaci Thank you I do believe my country made the most progress as part of the European Union
@SW-User Indeed. Running a democratic country is no easy feat…but the blessings of prosperity and happiness run to the root level…and that is why it’s more powerful and long lasting.
