Communism is pure evil. Socialism is communism for slow learners. Democratic socialism is socialism with lipstick - put the word democratic in front of it, and suddenly it's ok.

There is not much to discuss really. There is a spectrum. On one end is anarchy, and on the other end is totalitarianism. We thrive as a society on the side of the spectrum much closer to anarchy, where we are free, but abide by laws and have limited gov't. Socialism and communism are just much further down the spectrum much more closely aligned with totalitarianism, where freedoms and property ownership are heavily restricted.

The US is heading down the path toward communism, but it's death by paper cut. It's happening so slowly, most can't see it. And the youth in our country are being indoctrinated into believing a constitutional republic is unfair. Go ahead and google: the 45 stated goals of communism in the US. It's frightening. This list was published and presented before congress in 1963. More than 50 years ago. As you go through the list, think about how many of those objectives have been accomplished.

The leftist radicals in our country have upped their game. Obama did a lot of damage in his objective to "fundamentally transform America." Hillary was expected to win the presidency and continue the process - but whoops, Trump got elected and got in the way. Now look at the insanity on the left in their efforts to destroy Trump. Look at the newest radicals being elected to the House of Representatives

Joe McCarthy was right about the commies in the US. But he became the poster child for one of the most effective smear campaigns in political history. You still hear members of congress today use the "McCarthyism card" in attempts to smear and discredit their adversaries.

We must stop this trend at all costs. I'm old, but am willing to die fighting this.
