Actually, Capitalism is a force of nature, kind of like barometric pressure throughout the planet. Capitalism is defined as being able to trade with one another, to mutual benefit, with freedom and liberty.
As countries evolve and as travel and communication evolved, countries began trading with one another to mutual benefit. If you want to call that globalism, by all means. In the process, the standard of living was improved throughout the planet.

@Reason10 capitalism was a stage of development. It's over! Cling desperately to your past as you fall! Desperation marks The West. Together with capitalism you will disappear.

I think the Soviet/Chinese communist systems had a pretty good go at establishing pan-national trade.

With airplanes, GPS, modern shipping and technology, globalism was inevitable, no matter what political/economic system you adhere to.

What do you mean by globalism?

Really... yet, it's Communism that vows to take over the world.

@OriginalDumbMan you don't know history.

@OriginalDumbMan Excuse me, but Iraq harbored the animals who attacked the United States without any provocation on 911.
Oh, and your blue state public schools probably do not have real history books, but the ONLY Axis nation that attacked the US without provocation was Japan. (And FDR knew that attack was coming.)
Germany had not attacked the US. And that was a war that claimed SIXTY MILLION casualties.
The Iraq skirmish was peanuts. Those cowardly ragheads were dropping their rifles and surrendering as soon as they saw our soldiers. And in the process the Adolf Hitler of the Middle East (last name Hussein) was taken out.
Of course, businessmen like Donald Trump were opposed to any action against Hussein, since that animal kept the more extreme ragheads in check. Trump back then believed getting rid of Hussein was bad for business.
He was right.

Globalism is still there, capitalism is in crisis.
CougarLisa · 36-40, F
@Roundandroundwego name one "globalist" nation that does not have a capitalist system?
