That's how capitalism works in a nutshell...

And with that I'm off for some sleep again. I'll probably be back briefly in about 10 hours, including 6 hours of sleep and 4 hours of appointments and chores, before going off again for a well needed nap.

Because their business fell out of the sky right?
@DeluxedEdition no, it was built by the labor of others. People deserve some credit and money for coming up with a groundbreaking idea, but if that would never pay out without others sacrificing their time and often health to make you a profit, the least you can do is pay them a living wage. If the company doesn't make enough for that, it doesn't make enough to give the CEO a Ferrari or villa either.

@DeluxedEdition the diet of rich people makes them rather toxic, so I'd suggest composting them to grow healthy food rather than eating them directly. But that aside, it's quite simple. If everyone became a CEO, there wouldn't be any laborers to let the company grow. And why accepta job you don't like? Because a low paying one is still better than none.

@NerdyPotato so you are saying you would rather succumb to being a laborer because in society there can’t be more chiefs than Indians ?
@DeluxedEdition no, nobody wants to, but the vast majority has to, whether they like it or not.

@NerdyPotato but that’s why it’s a good thing to have those in place so that people like you or I can feed ourselves

the reason is the are more employees to ceos is they lack the confidence, work ethic, knowledge or motivation

Go gain those skills and try. You miss every chance you don’t take.

In this day and time with the internet there are plenty of ways to start your own business for free even without inventory

And those business started out from somewhere. Amazon started in a garage

You are already mapping out your destiny by having that attitude that “I can’t do it” or I can’t be successful”

How do you know? You didn’t even try. If you fail try again. Dr suess first book on mulberry street was rejected 27 times before it finally got published

That's where you are rather optimistic. That's why most people are employed, true. But that doesn't always mean they can feed themselves. The reason? Due to lack of social security or a bad implementation of it, any job is better than being unemployed, regardless of the reason. And that makes employers get away with extremely low pay and bad work conditions: there will always be people at rock bottom willing to fill a position, no matter how little they offer.
