@xSharp: You wouldn't have nations to begin with in anarchy.

@AnarchoMetalchic: but anarchists would have to first conquer these foreign governments in order to disband them to stop them from conquering your country, how would an invading force of your own be recruited and maintained without any authority keeping them in line and out of the food rations?

@xSharp: Ancaps don't have to conquer anybody. They simply stop allowing anyone else to govern them.

@xSharp: Also, foreign countries would have no reason to go after ancaps anyways. They pose no threat as they are not any governing force.

@AnarchoMetalchic: foreingn governments have reason to attack ancaps for their unexploited resources sitting in their land, would ancaps allow themselves to be rounded up and thrown into prison camps or killed while their country is taken and their resources exploited? rather than defect?

@AnarchoMetalchic: the reason our land was taken by the white man is because we were anarchists.. fighting among st ourselves.. we never united under one flag and we lost everything for it. stand united or divided you WILL fall..

@xSharp: They were not anarchists though. Anarchy is peaceful.

@AnarchoMetalchic: by definition anarchy is the lack of any centralized governing body. tribes fighting each other is the equivalent of families fighting on black friday over a t.v. if there was no police or security governing the event there would be many more deaths.

@AnarchoMetalchic: anarchy may be peaceful but people are not.. they must be governed and made productive for their own benefit. like telling a child to clean their room. sad but true on the larger scale of things.

@xSharp: I disagree. Government is violent. If the "people" are not peaceful, then they have no business trying to govern others.

@AnarchoMetalchic: i agree, but how would lack of government make violent people peaceful rather than give more incentive to be violent?

@xSharp: Well, you would not eliminate security. People would still protect each other from anyone who may pose a threat. Police would still exist, but using their services would be voluntary.

@xSharp: And to compare to your black Friday, TV comparison, you would still have police and security. Stores are private property and can still throw you our for being unruly. You don't need a govt. to do that. They can hire private security, have store policies/rules in place. If you do not abide, you will be removed. No different than now.

@AnarchoMetalchic: im not saying i wouldnt love it, its just i feel it would be alot like the wild west, and that would not go over so well for alot of people, please describe what an anarchist society would look like, the size of the average community as well as how services would be maintained and how inter community trade and diplomacy would work so i can get a better mental picture of what your envisioning.

@xSharp: As much as I'd love to cover all that with you, I am at work. lol That would take up my whole day as there is a lot to explain. Some simple googling should answer any question you may have.
