Now that hardworking Republicans are in charge of everything, Mitch McConnell was finally able to make the Senate work two extra weeks.

The lazy Democrats want to take a whole month off, but it's not going to happen. Republicans are too productive and efficient for that.

Now if only they could actually pass a bill instead of doing nothing

They're going to pass their healthcare bill. It's a really really good bill since Republicans have had 7 years to come up with a plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.

@USAalltheway obviously, they wouldn't have dicked around for past 7 years and not come up with an alternative
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
Yeah, only liberals would do that.
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
@SW-User They can't pass the bill since a very small number of republican senators have a conscience and don't want to take 800 million dollars of care away from sick kids.

And that money is slated to goto the elite 1%.

@SW-User They have been passing bills. the media is just playing the non story on Russia nonstop. And I truly hope they don't replace an idiotic bill with an equally idiotic bill.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
Yeah, they've been passing lots of bills. They've been passing so many bills that I'm not even going to bother to name any of them.
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
@USAalltheway Right sooo many. I actually count that as a plus that they are incompetent and can't pass major legislation.
katielass · F
@USAalltheway you'd better look them up. You might not like some of them and I presume you want to be informed.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@katielass Looking things up is for liberals. I'm already informed because I have common sense.
katielass · F
@USAalltheway good for you then. (eye roll)
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@USAalltheway I want to believe that, but I have my doubts. First thing is to stop funding the insurance companies. Whenever government subsidies anything cost rise.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@GunSmoke9 Yeah, whenever government subsidies anything cost rise. That's just Economics 101.
