The Paris deal itself is nowhere near strong enough but is at least a step forward. The lobbyists and neo-con pacs who are 'informing' Trump will have none of it though because it threatens their bottom line. Oligarchic cowboy capitalism is killing the planet and Trump is their figurehead.

This is only one of the many kinds of crony capitalism damaging the world. Financial capitalism that allows the use of staple food as commodities or speculation with national debt is another one. We have pharmaceutical and medical capitalism keeping the prices of medicines and treatments away from lots of people who need it...and all American, and not American presidents agree with them. Trump is not the figurehead,he is just another link in a really long chain. He is a good scapegoat but just that.
