Is Trump conrolled by the fossil fuel lobby?

The rest of the G20 (all 19 others) rebuke Trump and continue with the Paris deal.

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/07/08/europe/g20-merkel-trump-communique/index.html

The Paris deal itself is nowhere near strong enough but is at least a step forward. The lobbyists and neo-con pacs who are 'informing' Trump will have none of it though because it threatens their bottom line. Oligarchic cowboy capitalism is killing the planet and Trump is their figurehead.

Merkle rebukes Trump on protectionist trade policies.........Can't help but feel there's a bit of pot/kettle/black going on there given Germany's 'hard 'Brexit' stance for the Brits.!

With regard to the whole climate change thing, only once Florida slips below the waves and so says goodbye to 20 million potential votes will America accept climate change and the fact they're responsible for at least 20% of it.

@Picklebobble2 I agree with the EU hypocrisy on trade, not least because the single currency is managed heavily in German interests. On climate change they have him bang to rights though.

@Burnley123 Yes. Even more proof (if it were needed !) that with so many decisions vital to the survival and advancement of the peoples of the planet, the two worst options for leading the worlds largest industrialized nation fought the last election.
Amazing to think they can create such wonders yet be so simplistically destructive at the same time.
