Is Trump conrolled by the fossil fuel lobby?

The rest of the G20 (all 19 others) rebuke Trump and continue with the Paris deal.

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/07/08/europe/g20-merkel-trump-communique/index.html

The Paris deal itself is nowhere near strong enough but is at least a step forward. The lobbyists and neo-con pacs who are 'informing' Trump will have none of it though because it threatens their bottom line. Oligarchic cowboy capitalism is killing the planet and Trump is their figurehead.

Sorry the other 19 are both loons and hypocrites. The AGW scam is coming undone but the 19 loons keep pressing on like they have a real problem to solve except none of them are making any binding commitments to real reductions.

@hippyjoe1955
the 19 loons keep pressing on like they have a real problem
We do.
none of them are making any binding commitments to real reductions.
Well yeah that bit is true. We need to go further and Trump is a step back.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 You didn't hear the Mann just lost in court? The scam is being revealed and you are not aware of it. That is why the leaders only pretend. There is no real crisis but it keeps people like you on their side.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 What are you on about and why would leaders pretend for no reason? 🙄
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 Political leaders do it all the time. It makes them look important as they solve these 'huge' problems. (except there is no problem to solve but it makes them look omnipotent when the problem finally drops from public consciousness) It is also why they don't like Trump. He is the one telling everyone the emperor has not clothes. The so called leaders are doing nothing about a nonexistent problem and making themselves look important. King Cannute and the waves is instructive
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 You haven't read into the climate science thing have you?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 read more than you likely. Did you know that the 97% consensus is actually less than 7%. The number is based on a mail out questionnaire. 10,000 were sent out. 700 were returned of those about 96.8% agreed with the hypothesis. What is not reported is that 93% didn't bother to respond.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 There are several surveys. Here is summary of all of their findings:

hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Here is a question for you. The AGW crowd has made all kinds of predictions regarding the dangers of AGW. How many of those predictions have come to pass in the time frame they were supposed to happen. (here's a hint - NONE!!!)
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
Change the subject having been refuted.

There is massive evidence that climate change is already impacting us. Do you really wanna go there?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 You think your little picture refuted what I said about the concensus? Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!! Sorry it did no such thin now let us move along to predictions shall we? How many of them came to pass in the time they were supposed to happen?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Send me evidence please. I have linked plenty of stuff and I just think you don't have a clue.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 Did the predictions come to pass in the time they were supposed to happen or not? Is Manhattan underwater? Is the arctic free of ice? Have all the polar bears died? Have any of the islands tipped over?
room101 · 51-55, M
@hippyjoe1955 what are you arguing against? That none of the predictions have come true or that they haven't happened to the extent and within the time frames postulated?

Either way, you need to read a little more. Try this:

hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@room101 Sorry but you and forbes are both wrong. The climate has remained almost static for over 20 years which is very surprising given that climate always changes. Always has and always will. There has been no change beyond previously observed norms. The earth has been warmer than now. The earth has been cooler than now. The earth has had CO2 levels much higher than now and it has had CO2 levels a bit lower than now. The fact is CO2 is good for us because it enhances plant growth which in turn allows greater animal life.
room101 · 51-55, M
@hippyjoe1955 I've crossed paths you enough times by now to know that facts, logic and evidenced based reason, none of these things are your forte. Neither is reading comprehension.

Continue to bury your head in the sand because that's all you have. Sand!
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@room101 Just because you lost every debate we have had so far does not mean you shouldn't try again. Face it AGW has been a scam from the get go. Evidence based SCIENCE shows all of its warts.

@hippyjoe1955 when I was in middle school I was talking that climate was measured in 30 to 40 year spans...

I would look at what real science is saying ...if I were you...unless of course you don't know what that is..

@SW-User Did you read the article and follow it up or are you too stupid to examine it farther?

@hippyjoe1955

The word is further...
If someone hold a degree or three...I will read..

There are people who spend their entire career who research ...
To make you happy I will look at it...
If it's not sourced...it's opinion..

I watch certified meteorologists on TV... They get information from real scientists..
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SW-User Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!! GASP!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! The meteorologists you see on TV are entertainers. They know nothing about the science the report on. Whats more we are discussing climate not weather.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Sorry to break this to you but they usually have some expertise. You have no expertise.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 What expertise do you have? I have known several TV meteorologists and they gained their credentials in a 6 week seminar. They are entertainers at best. As for my credentials I won't bother since you wouldn't understand anyways.
