I rarely post on political blogs, and aside from mandatory military service in other countries I don't know much else about it, but there is an appalling lack of emotional stability among many millennial's.

@TexChik: Sadly so. It's amazing to me the types of work I did at 14 that I wouldn't trust most 14 year olds to handle now.

@TexChik: There is such a push for kids to go to college and "education" but real life skills and the ability to take care of yourself and others is basically considered archaic and old fashioned. A balance of both is the key.

@TexChik: Engineering, medical, tech, perhaps teaching...art history majors might be interesting but it's not going to pay the bills or save your life :D
