"It has become crystal clear that CNN still has no clue why Hillary and the establishment lost. Much of the post-election reflection has focused on Trump’s popularity with the white working class, with whom the president’s populism and protectionism resonated. Most, however, have ignored the reactionary post-Millennials who, despite holding liberal values on many issues, voted en masse for Trump. (A Hispanic Heritage Foundation study backed up the voting data, which was limited to only the oldest of Gen Z. Their findings: of 50,000 teenagers, Trump would beat Clinton by 15 percent.)"

Just to be fair, CNN has a middle left bias.

I believe CNN along with most of its fan base live in blissful ignorance. A lot of their politics relies heavily on the race baiting strategy. If they considered other factors it would ruin their narrative.

@patkaren1717: Well since I think the Dems are trying to help them, I would say the Dems. Most African Americans would agree, they are obviously free to vote other places if they don't like their representation.

You can work and fix something if someone is listening, its when they ignore you that its impossible to make change.
patkaren1717 · 36-40, M
@Pherick: The Dems are giving them Crumbs to keep them hopeful so they get there votes.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@patkaren1717 CNN is still waiting for them Russians 😏
katielass · F
They live in a bubble. They have no diversity of thought in their circles so the only people they have contact with have the same flawed thinking they do. And they are arrogant in thinking they are better than the rest of us and aren't even trying to figure it out.
@katielass: Does any major news network have that? They're all the same
hunkalove · 61-69, M
I don't own a TV but even though Hillary was a horrible candidate and I didn't vote for her I still can't understand how a piece of shit like Trump won. This country is sick and dying.
Niburu · 51-55, M
@hunkalove: because she is a bigger POS than Trump
also Donny was a way for middle America to stick it to the establishment political class

I personally voted for the guy that had actual governing experience
I have no idea what the rest of you were thinking
okaybut · 56-60, M
@Niburu: I think you called it..a way to stick it to the elite by middle American or anyone for that matter, tired of the ideological based self-serving entitlement machine trying to sell & control their ideas and get paid for it.
katielass · F
@okaybut: True, sticking it to the elites but more than that, Trump listened. He made people believe they mattered. People have already been screwed by the I feel your pain crap. The next president, be it in 2020 or 2024, had better learn something from this.
akindheart · 61-69, F
i can't even watch CNN anymore. i never knew what "fake news" was until i saw the carnage that CNN and the rest were perpetrating. CNN was openly making fun of the president...that is appalling
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
Hillary lost because the Democrats didn't get their base out. That counts for white's in the rust belt as well as millennials.
patkaren1717 · 36-40, M
It is really Dnn, the Democrat News Network.

Don't believe the hype! 👍

I think CNN has come to believe it's own BS and can't see past it.
They are well on their way to self destruction.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Niburu: I don't think they are on their way to self-destruction, I think they are beginning to become the Fox News of the left. So we have Fox on the right, CNN on the left, both have bias, and both appeal to their base.
Niburu · 51-55, M
@Pherick: Fox doesn't seem to need to retract stories at the rate CNN does
yes the "Fair and Balanced" thing was always a crock
CNN, ABC, and all the NBC's have been left biased for decades
There are at least several right leaning news networks on cable now.
The internet seems to be an even split between liberals and conservatives with a small percentage of centrists.
