While I think voting for Republicans and Democrats is a really bad idea, he doesn't seem to be controlled by the energy, health insurance, media or pharmaceutical industries.

@refinish2: Really? Most Republicans are owned by energy companies and pharmaceutical companies. Just check their views of the E.P.A. and their health care program.

True, but they work for the healthcare and big pharma. Pretty good job expanding the NSA after promising to disable it. An illusion of choice.

Democrats and Republicans are far more alike than different. If you believe we have actual freedom to choose, why do we only get get what each wing of the party tells us?
Big corporations would have a fit if there were an actual candidate, and not a (D) or (R) puppet.

@refinish2 yup lobbying has ruined this country. If trump were somehow able to curtail and add limits and boundaries to the D.C. Lobbying that would be the biggest win besides the wall. I hope he makes a sexy wall on our side glass and just awesome looking like israels. But another wall that Mexico has to look at with razor wire. And in between the two walls an electronic moat of sorts.
