Thank you Supreme Court for the Unanimous decision today.

Ooops. Not quite sure what "unanimous" means, huh?
It was a 6-3 ruling. The "unanimous" came from the Court deciding to hear the full case in the Fall.
Now how could someone like you make such a mistake? Is it because Trump said it was unanimous? Still haven't learned, huh?
Glad you feel safer from the big bad scary Muslim immigrants though tiger. That's the important thing.

@Ynotisay: Keep beating the messenger because you cannot defend what happened. It was unanimous to hear it in the Fall but in the meantime Parts of it still stand and are enforceable right now because they overruled the lower courts.

Keep throwing what Trump may said in there to deflect the fact the SCOTUS overruled the lower court an a lot of it. Cloud the issue so you don't have to accept the truth.

@bigjohndl: So even though you KNOW that's not what you meant, because who would 'thank' the Court for not hearing a case, you're going to stick with it, huh? OK man. Whatever you say.

@Ynotisay: LOL, it is so interesting trying to reason with Libtards. Like arguing with a 4 year old. You twist what I say to meet your side of it. Losers, get over it. You lost the election and TRUMP is YOUR President!! Have a wonderful life hating Trump and the battles he is winning!

I am moving on to more adult conversations. LOL Remember Trump tweeted Covfete. Think about that and get your mind all bent out of shape again. LOL

Well the President does have this Constitutional Power. It's obvious to anyone that can read.

Right....

So, you're glad SCOTUS decided to put off discussing this case until fall? Because that's what they unanimously agreed to do.
bigjohndl · 70-79, M
@Northwest: Yes, but they let a big of it go in effect now. It is in effect until the court hears the whole thing.

@bigjohndl: The point here, is that you're repeating the President's claim, which he got form Fox news, that the decision to uphold his travel ban was unanimous. This is not the case.

The issue is much more complicated than it appears to those who only get their information from Fox News and the President's tweets. What the justices decided, is to allow parts of the ban to stand, but MODIFIED what that means.

Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.
Stephen G. Breyer
Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Elena Kagan
Anthony Kennedy
Sonia Sotomayor

Voted for that, while the more conservative judges, did not join in the decision, because the legal implications are very complicated.

So, if anything at all, it shows that the whole thing is less than half baked, and no one in the administration thought through the full implications.

The SCOTUS decision allows anyone who can claim a connection to the US, and that's really wide open, to be excluded from the ban.
