So the Republicans of SW hate James Comey now.

@GunSmoke9: Because of his timing in reopening what turned out to be old news about Clinton's [b]aide's[/b] emails. Why is Trump now pretending [b]that's[/b] the reason he fired him, when at the time he was [b]jubilant[/b] ? At least the fact that Comey was going after both sides indicated [b]some[/b] neutrality.

@bijouxbroussard: If he was really going after Hillary, she would of been indicted.

@GunSmoke9: Total baloney. There was nothing to indict, unless Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice and Mike Pence (while he was governor) were charged with the same offense.

@bijouxbroussard: Not total baloney. I listened to Comey, Clinton did this, Clinton did that, but no indictment? He also said he didn't confer with other agents.

@GunSmoke9: No, he said that while Clinton and colleagues did not intend to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, they were "careless". And basically, many things Trump and his folks have done have also been due to carelessness, except that he's not willing to learn from them. And he's more upset that they've been revealed than that they've been a problem.

@bijouxbroussard: Right she didn't intend to break the law, but she did. Did Obama tell Comey to back off?

@GunSmoke9: No, there's nothing indicating that he did. There's nothing indicating Obama demanded loyalty from Comey, either. But he [b]was[/b] willing to keep a Republican as head of the FBI. Trump didn't fire him until he realized he wasn't letting go of the Russian investigation. Trump would've been better off just letting the original "reason" that was given for the firing stand. But then he started [b]tweeting[/b].

@bijouxbroussard: Well I wonder who told Loretta Lynch, Comey's boss to meet Bill Clinton on a tarmac before Comey ruled against indicting Hillary. Nothing fishy there, right? What's wrong with wanting loyalty?

@GunSmoke9: The FBI has to remain neutral. You'll notice Comey didn't spare Lynch either, but she admitted what she said---and why.

@bijouxbroussard: Great, after the fact, after Hillary lost. Where was the media outrage over that meeting on the tarmac? 24 7 Trump and Russia.

@GunSmoke9: Well, like you said, she lost. Where is [b]your[/b] outrage over Trump, the winner, who's been lying to you and keeps getting caught ? He's the president and this is happening [b]right now[/b], yet you keep making excuses for him.

@bijouxbroussard: There is plenty of things Trump does that I don't like. I wasn't even defending Trump, but attacking Comey and the media.
