So the Republicans of SW hate James Comey now.

I wonder why that is. 馃槣

He's an admitted criminal who should be arrested and sent to prison.

@lastbabyboomer: Who is, Trump?
MasterLee56-60, M
@Burnley123: comey
TheProphetM
@Burnley123: Trump isn't guilty of anything. Comey admitted he leaked Government secrets and that is a felony with a 10 year maximum sentence.
MasterLee56-60, M
@Burnley123: he is the lawfully elected president of the united states. been in a few papers.
Burnley12341-45, M
@lastbabyboomer: Why would a lifeliong republican with no need to rock the boat tell lies about a Republican POTUS?
TexChikF
@lastbabyboomer: he leaked info , not sure if it was classified info
TheProphetM
@TexChik: Still a federal crime either way.
MasterLee56-60, M
@TexChik: at a minimum fouo. Still prosecutable.
TexChikF
@MasterLee: not really . Comey leaked info that was not classified ... if the AG can make a case he will , but I don't think it's plausible
TheProphetM
@TexChik: Those memos were Government property and he had no right to release him. He's no better than that traitorous cunt reality winner.
TexChikF
@lastbabyboomer: congress didn't seem too concerned , but they are interested to see if he also leaked classified info
MasterLee56-60, M
@TexChik: it is, trust me
TexChikF
@MasterLee: I must disagree .... certainly not a felony . Trumps attorneys are filing a complaint about the release of the info ... for a thorough investigation. However he committed the act after he was no longer in government employ . He certainly violated his nondisclosure statement but it's not a criminal act . As an attorney he is in great danger of being disbarred for his misdeeds , which is a civil act

@lastbabyboomer:
He's an admitted criminal who should be arrested and sent to prison.
Guilty of what? Did he reveal privileged information?
TheProphetM
@Northwest: He admitted to giving memos that belonged to the Government to a reporter. That's a felony.
MasterLee56-60, M
@lastbabyboomer: Yup
NorthwestM
@lastbabyboomer: Giving memos that belong to the government to a reporter, is not a felony, unless the information is privileged. Is the information privileged, and if so, why isn't the President, who wants to lock people up for leaking privileged information insist on action? Better yet, why isn't the AG acting on it?
TheProphetM
@Northwest: It was privilaged. We will see if the Government pursues it. I think Vomey should be treated the same as that traitorous cunt reality winner.
NorthwestM
@lastbabyboomer: The only person in the government, that I know of, who's a reality TV star, is the President. As to your claim that it was privileged, well, it's not. I repeat, if it is, he would already have been indicted and arrested.

It's no coincidence that Comey, an attorney himself, gave it to his friend, a law professor at Columbia University, to send to a reporter.

And what law credentials do you have?
TheProphetM
@Northwest: We will see what happens.
NorthwestM
@lastbabyboomer: Nothing related to your claims will happen, seeing that you're making baseless claims.

I'm not sure why it's so difficult to understand, that it's not about what investigation the President can or cannot terminate, it's about independence of the FBI. This is what Comey is trying to expose. An attempt by the President to turn the office of Directory of the FBI, into his submissive and have us slide closer to a dictatorship.
TheProphetM
@Northwest: He did no such thing. The hearings proved that. Comey admitted that Trump didn't ask or tell him to end the investigation.
