I am an immigrant and I'm here to work hard and better myself.
My parents were immigrants and they proudly broke their backs working in this country
I'm not an immigrant! I'm a Native to this land!
I guess my people were immigrants at one point but we don't look back that far.
Ellis Island! Where they let you through as long as you didn't have lice.

Everyone is talking about immigration these days. Where are your people from? What's their story? Did your ancestors make America better? Or UK or whatever 1st world country you're in....Be nice, no insults!

Let's see my parents immigrated to America as teens - from Mexico.
My mothers family is part Native Mexican from a people known as the Tarahumara or some know them as Raramuri.
My fathers family is rumored to have immigrated to Mexico from Either Greece or Italy to Mexico. (My grandfathers grandfather and grandmother) my grandfathers father married a woman from Mexico who was part Spanish and part native (I think that's the story) and then our line became more Mexican (mestizo/mixed) as the generations progressed.

We've actually ordered a few ancestry kits to see if we can get further information that would lead us in the right direction.
